Ayla survives the Hurrinado

Just before the storm, Mommy finished rearranging a new play space near her desk- complete with mini kitchen and spongy rug. Ayla rode the storm out in the bath tub with Mommy and Gaby- we let her hold the flashlight so she wasn't so scared. She kept asking "What that noise?" when we heard the limbs and trees breaking.
The new rainy day play space helped keep them occupied while the power was out. The trees fell all around the house and it almost felt like an island- it was very quiet in the evenings and we built a little fire ring and made s'mores- Ayla had a lot of marshmallows!
