It feels like August around here

Ayla went to an Auction over the weekend. It was really too hot to be out.... she had fun anyway though!

Okay, I apologize for the overly edited photos in the previous posts. I just got photoshop and was playing around quite a bit. I'm still playing, but I hope these are easier to look at.

The quote on the bottom one is especially for Jill- her favorite and the one I immediately thought of when I saw this photo in the "dark room".

If playing is the work of childhood... Ayla needs a 15 min break! She played until she passed out.

Comfortable Piggy

We took Ayla out to eat chinese and told our waiter she was born in the chinese year of the pig. He said we were very lucky because that means she will go through life and be very comfortable and not have to work very hard. It seems like eating strawberry ice cream is such a chore though!

Front Facing!

We're so excited about Ayla's birthday!!! She gets cuter everyday! Turning 1 means you get to sit facing forward in the car! She loves being able to look out the windw and talk to her brother. Making eye contact with whoever is in the front passenger seat is a big bonus too!

We're enjoying temps in the low 80s today! Memaw called and made sure the babies got to go outside and play. So off to the park! Ayla walked around a lot today! She got a new care bear dipe so she had to model that too.
