Ayla's December Day 2

This morning, I popped up to the kitchen to pull some cookies out of the oven, and when I returned, I found my large bag of poly fil open and spread onto the floor. Gabe was exclaiming "Ayla, you're a genius!" as the kids were stuffing "snowballs" onto their ever-evolving Christmas tree.

Ayla found this cute little finger puppet at the Craft fair today and brought him home for the holidays :)

Ayla's December Day 1

I swear, I had these exact advent calenders growing up. These were found on a recent trip to Cincinnati. Ayla is also extremely excited about the holidays! She keeps asking if she can have another chocolate. The whole only open one door a day thing is killing her!!

Ayla turns 4!

Ayla helped make her own rainbow birthday cake in a jar.

The best birthday ever!

Summer update

Ayla has been plyaing outside a lot when it isn't too hot.

She got to go to one of her favorite restaurants with her cousin Kassidi, Aunt Cindy and Grandma Mary Jane!

They gave her bubbles!

This is why we couldn't relax and play at the house that day.

Ayla's Indiana adventure

Indiana Vacation in Ayla's own words:
What did you think of Holiday world? "Splash World was the best part and I loved the colorful slides".
Meeting Santa? "Santa wouldn't kiss me, but he hugged me."
Did you like your hotel stay? "I did, but we had other things to do."
What was the best part of going to Fuzzies? "The games. I really liked the pink game."
Tell me about the Mill. "I liked the Mill.I liked feeding the fish cornmeal."
How about Marengo Cave "I was really scared of Rarango Cave. But the cave bacon was funny when I got to see it. I saw a pink stone there."

What about your 4th of July? "I really liked the SMALL fireworks"

Ayla bowls!

Ayla bowled for the first time- she really did a great job! Her favorite part was the slick shoes.
